Good news for shoulders!

Dr. Maynard has been successfully performing a clavicle fracture repair using a new device made by Sonoma orthopedics called Sonoma CRx. Sonoma CRx offers a least invasive solution in intramedullary clavicle fracture fixation. With small incisions and minimal soft tissue trauma, patients have the potential to experience less pain, shorter rehabilitation, and an earlier return to normal activity.

Dr. Maynard has been successfully performing a new ACL surgical technique called CoLS Classic. CoLS Classic is an innovative system for reconstructing the cruciate ligaments of the knee, making it possible to limit the number of tendons harvested (1 instead of the usual 2). Thanks to the very strong graft, the patient’s recovery period can be shortened with no splint, immediate and full weight-bearing, and free movement.

Dr. Maynard originally performed the CoLS Classic along with Dr. Hubert Lanterier. Dr. Lanternier is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in knees, shoulders and hips and he practices at Polyclinique De L’ Europe. He flew in from France to share this technique with Dr. Maynard and it has been a huge success ever since!
